Thanks, Deb. I am very happy to meet you. Yes, my husband is Tibetan and I am very involved in the exile community. Have also studied Chinese films and philosophy. Very interesting culture, but the government certainly has a long way to go before it reaches adolescence. :)

Just responding to your comment about 'Quicksand' a couple of weeks ago. Sorry it's taken so long.
Preston is in the North West of England. The bay I was writing about is called Morecambe Bay and although much of it is safe, it is the largest area of quicksand on Earth. There have been some terrible tragedies in the bay, some connected with the quicksand, but some as a result of the speed of the tides.
I've never been to Southend, but I know of it.

Welcome....We have a double connection I was born in Baltimore Md. Lake Wales is 60 miles east of Tampa and about the same distance from the east coast. We are the georgraphical center of Florida. With that said we are the only city in the state ever to be hit by 3 major hurricanes and that was in 2004. So away from the coast is not always safe lol. We are 35 min drive south of the Mourse House. Disney complex
